Auma language (from Aka : Pasa Aumayu ; from Auma : Tāta 'Ōma) is a Lemurian Language spoken in the Ebro Region (Rep. of the Ponant) by approximately five million peoples. It is an official language in the region of Ebro with Kriollatino language.

This language is mainly a syllabic agglutinative language. In Auma language, a word is mainly composed by a bisyllabic root, and one or more affixes who may determine or precise its genre or its number.

Monosyllabic words are short syllables and are maily prepositions, postposition and particles.

Syllabary Edit

The letters are alphabetically classed according to latin alphabet order.

Auma Lakhang Syllabary (transcripted)
a [a] ! ā [aː] ! e [e] ! ē [eː] ! i [i] ! o [o] ! ō [oː] ! u [u] ! ư [ɯ]
a ā e ē i o ō u ư
p [p] pa pe pi po pu

r [ɾ] ra re [1] ro [1]
n [n] na ne ni no nu
h [h] ha he [1] ho [1]
' [ʔ] 'a 'e 'i 'o 'u

This syllabary is the basis of the Auma language. In any way the letters, except vowels, can be separated from its consonants. Foreign words are systematically Aumatised and its orthography adapted according to the syllabary given above.

With its bisyllabic roots, Auma language is theoretically able to create around 7,056 roots if we exclude foreign words. But practically the number of potential roots is strongly reduced : a root is a compound of long and short syllable, that reduces his number of potential roots to 1,368. The language nowadays countains as many roots as possible but only the half of the roots are used frequently.
