Berm, kie rešom, tuse uwas udiwa o yarem befite šamutu sus. At, uwa ne sere udiwa. Am wicsonem thi, thu uwa bauged thui grašoi.

The sheep and the horses

On hill, sheep who not had wool saw horses. One horse was pulling wagon, one was carrying big load, and one was carrying person with speed. The sheep said to the horses, "My heart hurts, when I see person who is driving horses." The horses said, "Listen, sheep, for our hearts hurt when we see this. Person, who is ruler, uses sheep's wool to make his own warm clothes. And, sheep not has wool." On hearing this, the sheep fled to the plain.

The sheep and the horses

On a hill, a sheep which had no wool saw horses, one pulling a wagon, one carrying a big load, and one carrying a man quickly. The sheep said to the horses, "It pains my heart to see a man driving horses." The horses said, "Listen, sheep. It pains our hearts when we see this: A man, the master, makes the sheep's wool into a garment for himself. And the sheep has no wool." Upon hearing this, the sheep fled into the plain.
