The city for conlangs

This code is used to "gibberify" english words to base a new root word on. Please avoid borrowing words through it, and suggest new root words on the talk pages.

• If a word starts with d, change the d to th. If the word ends with d, change it to t.
• If a word starts with ar, the ar should be changed to te. If the word ends with ar, change it to het.
• If a word starts with re, change the re to za. If the word ends with re, change the re to mz.
• If a word ends in ll, change the ll to teh.
• If a word ends with o, the o should be changed to ake. Otherwise, the o should become z, unless it is after an s, then drop the o.
• If a word starts with iz, the iz should be changed to eem. If it ends with iz, the iz should be changed to eef.
• If a word starts with m, the m should become dia. If the word ends with m, the m should become ep.
• If a word starts with b, change the b to zeu
• If a word ends with y, change the y to yix.
• If a word doesn't match ANY of these rules and would otherwise have to be used in exactly or close to the same form as the english version, add yix to the end.
• If a word ends with za, change the za to zeh.
• Replace anything that sounds like "ay" with an apostrophe.

• Silent letters are EVIL. We don't use them. If a letter should be silent, it should be completely removed from the word, after gibberification. This is the most important rule of all, due to the sheer evilness of silent letters! Don't confuse this with when a letter is used to alter anothers sound!
• Please note that per-word exceptions of rules are always possible.
• After converting the words from english, to this code, you will arrive at the base version of the word. This is modified before making it an official Bleghish word. This usually means shortening it to an acceptable size.
