Bgh:Phonemes
The city for conlangs
These are intentionally designed so that the SAMPA representation of the phonemes are almost always the same as the way the phonemes are written. The SAMPA representation is in parenthesis.

[edit] Phonotactics
For the most part, Bleghish syllable structure is (C)V(C). Most strings of two consonants would thus indicate a syllable boundary.
Although not indicated in the orthography, ' can represent an entire syllable, if it appears where one would normally expect a final consonant, though this syllable will always consist of the click followed by an unstressed schwa. For example, the paku "wo'ma" is actually pronounced /"wo!@ma/.
