The fictional Carlesean Empire lasted from 322 BCE to 7 BCE. The Empire's reign was divided into three Era's lasting an irregular amount of time, depending on what has happened during that time. Each Era was opened by the first reigning Emperor of that Era with the words: "Istö henën anön gentäl." Let us better ourselfs during these years.

The First Era (322 BCE–251 BCE) was the beginning of the Carlsean Empire when a few thousand Greeks and Egyptians sailed out to the Atlantic Ocean. They found an island several hundred miles west of the contempory Spanish coast. They called it 'Calistö', which means 'protector'. In the first few year they built the great city of Minä Hydëce, the City of the Kings. Around 291 BCE they established a basic culture and a way of ruling the island. The people wanted a group of men and women representing the entire population of the city. The 'Cüro-Dhana' would come together every week. The first real law the Cüro-Dhana made was as followed: "The kingdom will not fail in helping those who need help." In this Era, there where no wars, civil wars or riots.

The Second Era (250 BCE–168 BCE) brought a new monarch to the kingdom, which from there on out became an empire. The first Emperor was a 12-year old boy called Gayek Hinöphe. In Carlesean history ment to be the most intelligent Emperor ever. He took great care of the Empire which, by the time Hinöphe was almost twenty-five, was going into a sort of economical boom. Trade was the most important way of making money and to give everyone what they needed. When Hinöpe died at the age of 68, being the longest reigning Emperor, his son Phenaÿ Ohro Hinöphe (mostly called Ohro) took over from his father. But Ohro was hated for his greed and desire to gain more power over the people. He was murdered in public in 182 BCE by the following Emperor Khal Minël. Minël reigned for another fourteen years and died in 168 BCE, ending the Second Era.

The Third Era (167 BCE–7 BCE), also known as the "Dark Era" was a time of anger and fear. War was brewing between the people and the Emperor of the Third Era; Fegër. Fegër was a brutal and hard man who showed no mercy for his people, his friends and not even his family. He started a war with the Northern Folks of Calisto. The war lasted about a hundred years, from 147 BCE to 42 BCE. In between, the even brutal son of Fegër, named Machirön, took over from Fegër after his father had murdered Machirön's sister and Machirön killed Fegër. Machirön was followed by his son Tertuinora, who reigned from 82 BCE to the end of the war in 42 BCE. He was the first Emperor do die in battle. Tertuinora's daughter named Karël, became first and only Empress of Calisto and she reigned until the near end of the Empire. In 11 BCE she announced that she wanted to live in Rome with her family and left. The remaining people spread out and left for the other side of the world, later becoming part the Aztec Empire. In the year of 7 BCE Calisto's volcano Olüru erupted, breaking the island in hundreds of smaller islands, who most of them sank into the sea. Several formed the Azores, others the Canary Islands
