Setting[]

Colonian is a language spoken by human colonists on an isolated earth-like planet in the far future, possibly in an alternate continuity. It is supposed to be a descendant of current human languages, but they are apart by more than one millenium.

Phonology[]

There are eight vowels (a, e, i, o, u, ö, ü and ë) and 23 consonants (b, p, m, d, t, n, g, k, ng, v, f, r, l, lh, s, z, sh, zh, ch, gh, 'h, y, w)

Phonotactics[]

The syllable structure is CVCC.

Basic Grammar[]

The structure is mostly agglutinative, with some flexional tendencies. It mainly uses prefixation.
