The city for conlangs

[edit] The goal of the conlang wikicity

I haven't seen this discussed in-your-face here yet: What is the current goal of this wikicity (is there one? place seems rather haphazardly slung together to me) and what do we want the goal to be?

• Personally I'd like there to be an in-depth encyclopedia for conlangs somewhere, why not here?
  • Already, conlang-articles unwanted on the english wikipedia are being transwikied here. This wiki need to stick around to take care of these at the least.
  • What about langmaker then? Langmaker is a database and not really a collection of articles.
• Separately from encyclopedic articles is the need for conlang hosting, and some conlangs are hosted here already. Right now, some such uses a prefix, others do not.
• What will be the role of this wiki as opposed/compared to the existing conlang-wikis?
