AlphabetEdit

The alphabet is made of carved runes, written on stones. The runes employ a mixed usage of featural, logograhpic and abugida This primarily due to dwarven isolationism. Dwarves from different mountains and different places who wish to communicate could only do so through sending couries with stone written messages. Yet due to further isolation these scripts started being used in different ways. Many dwarves call their isolation in their caves as their curse.

PhonotacticsEdit

There can be any amount of clusters for each type of consonant e.g. stop, nasal, fricative etc.

Dzakmnbit employs vowel harmony which contrasts the front and back vowels which cannot mix in a word for example the word for sea wukot and the suffix for male ag combine these to make the word for sailor wukotuq, the word for mountain main is dzakiq due to vowel harmoney. It also has consonant harmoney in which consonants which are voiced and unvoiced do not mingle, consonants with no voicless or voiced versions are labelled as neutral.

NounsEdit

Nouns are split up into three genders, sentients, natural objects and man made objects. Each gender is then further split into two sub genders. sentients its dwarves vs non dwarves, natural objects (static vs active) and man made objects are an exception and are split into four (large active, small active and large static and small static) Cases and adjectives agree to the gender of the noun. The gender is shown through prefixes. There are complex inside motion cases but fairly simplistic outdoor motion cases due to dwarves living in caves. Like mirkuleon it is a quadratic alignment language. Since dwarves are mainly craftsman and artisan most of the agreement is based on the object and there is also quite a lot of object relationship case marking in it.

VerbsEdit

Dwarven verbs mark direction, they also mark person and purpose. Dwarven verbs also mark completendess and success rate. Dwarven verbs mark tense and aspect serpately (I do not normally do this in conlangs so yeah).
