Erytheian (also called Old Erytheian), is a conlang based on Latin. It was the official language of the Kingdom of Baetica, an independent state in the south of the Iberian Peninsula.

As a romlang, it is closely related to languages such as Portuguese, Catalan, Italian, and also to other romlangs. This language was spoken around the centuries 7th to 9th.

HistoryEdit

GrammarEdit

The Grammar of Erytheian is essentially the one of its predecessor, Latin, but with some simplifications. The case system has been simplified, with only three cases: Nominative, Accusative and Ablative, since Dative and Genitive have merged into Ablative. The similarities among the three remaining cases have caused the speakers to use analytical methods instead.

Writing systemEdit
