The Gelpunian language (Gelpūnia kuestta, gelpūnia miva) is a language spoken almost by 3 hundred millions of inhabitats of imaginary planet Laša, especially in the Gelpunian kingdom.
It belongs to Gelpunian language family, and it's slightly influenced by Slavic, Germanic, Latin, Ancient Greek, Italian, Quenya, Coptic, Hindi and Finnish languages.
The language originated from Proto-gelpunian language, that is the base for other languages of Gelpunian family. The language had nasal vowels, which retain nowadays, but can only be found in other Gelpunian family languages.
Gelpunian has three cases (nominative, genitive, locative), two declension classes (for Masculine and Feminine), no verb conjugation (except six verbs), and no adjective decliantion. Adverbs must be at the end of the sentece, however the time-related adverbs especially. The language has 7 verb tenses (present simple, future imperfect, future perfect, past imperfect, past perfect, present imperfect and present perfect). The verbs has no imperative form.
The language in its fictional history had articles (o/om, da/dan), o/om were for indefinite (masculine/feminine), and da/dan for definite (masculine/feminine). In modern Gelpunian, they mean demonstrative pronouns something/this (shortened versions). They decline according to case and genre. Notice that longer version of "da/dan" - etye doesn't decline according to whatever. The language has strict SVO word order.

The vowels with a macron/double acute acent are spelled longly. The Apostrophe between two letters cancels the pronuncation.
The retroflex consonants in brackets () occurr solely by combination with retroflex fricatives, they aren't in alphabet as self.
Z is spelled [ts] at the end of the word.
R [r] - on the beginning of the word, after a consonant, [ə̆] (extra-short schwa) - after a vowel and before consonant, and [r] between two vowels.
