Hispanglic (known natively as Jispánglico) is the official language of Hispanglia, and island that was constantly in dispute over whether it was a part of the English or Spanish empire. When Hispanglia gained independence Hispanglic eventually developed from both English and Spanish.

Classification and DialectsEdit

Hispanglic is very closely related to Spanish and is a part of the Ibero-Romance family of languages. It is also related to English, with a lot of vocabulary derived from English.

There are two major dialects of Hispanglic, Standard Hispanglic and Southern Hispanglic (also kown as Greek Hispanglic). The main difference between them is that Southern Hispanglic is written using the Greek alphabet.
