Coda /ʀ/ manifests as pharyngealization and sometimes lengthening of preceding vowels. Long lax vowels (other than /ɔː/) and the vowel quality [ɑ] only appear next to uvular obstruents.

There are also five diphthongs, /aɪ aʊ aɛ aɔ ɔʏ/, which also have the allophones [ɑɪ ɑʊ ɑɛ ɑɔ] next to uvular obstruents.
