Inflective simplifications Edit

Substantives Edit

Nominative is the only case that survived. The plural form also disappeared. All feminine nouns from the Latin 1st class end in -a, all masculine nouns from the Latin 2nd class in -u, and neuter disappeared. The gender of a word is always the same as the noun's gender in French. Examples:

Masculine Feminine
xomu hemina
inhansch mar
tominu tomina
pfasser masser
hrasser schoror
pfaschtor schkora
miresch mirisia

Articles Edit

Definite and indefinite articles do not exist. So, xomu is "a man" or "the man".
