Nouns in Isrussian can have decline to 5 different cases,  Nominative, Genitive, Dative, Accusative and instrumental. The prepositional case that existed in russian has merged with the dative case.

the use of the cases can be described as

Nominative   | The subject of a sentence. 
Accusative   | The direct object of a sentence.
Genitive     | Possession (of ....)
Dative       | The indirect object of a sentence.
Instrumental | An instrument that is used in an action.

Indefinite articleEdit

Unlike russian, Isrussian actually gained an indefinite article, which however is omitted when possible. The article is їн /jɪ̃/ which agrees to the case of the noun.
