KNF:Nouns

Noun casesEdit

There are 6 noun cases in Kиipƒi, some with 'uncommon' names:

Nominative - standard form of a noun, really used rarely, eg. 'He is called CAT'.

Subjective - used with noun when it acts as a subject, eg. 'CAT went upstairs'.

Posessive - used as Genitive, eg. 'MONKEY'S fur'.

Objective - when nouns are used as objects, and their state changes, eg. 'He crashed with CAR'.

Temative - when there's no subject or very abstractive IT subject(eg. describing with BE or when using imperative) eg. 'YOU are stupid', 'Let PEOPLE clean'

sUbstantive - mainly used as place markers, definition is when nouns are used as objects, and their state doesnt change), eg. 'I'm going to HOUSE'.

Noun declinationEdit

The declination depends on 2 facts about the Nominative of a noun. First, its gender. Whether is it masculine or feminine. Then, it depends on the second from end letter of the Nominative(for feminine) or on last letter of Nominative(for masculine). For feminine the special letter is N, and for masculine it's R.

Feminine declination with N, eg. ana
singular plural
Nominative ana ańe(comes from anie)
Subjective ane anai
Posessive aną anu
Objective ańa(comes from ania) anć
Temative ano ańo(comes from anio)
Substantive anei anoi

Remember that if u add an i to n you get a ń.

Feminine declination for rest of cases, eg. nea
singular plural
Nominative nea neie
Subjective neo neio
Posessive neć neće
Objective neoi neioi
Temative neu ney
Substantive neą ne
Masculine declination with R, eg. kiar
singular plural
Nominative kiar kiary
Subjective kiaro kiaroi
Posessive kiarń kiar
Objective kiar kiaroiń
Temative kiaru kiarue
Substantive kiarą kiarra

Masculine declination for rest of cases, eg. mun
singular plural
Nominative mun muna
Subjective muo muń
Posessive muio muiu
Objective mu muńa
Temative muro mune
Substantive muą mu

Special nounsEdit

As so, the few special nouns indicate abstract things. They can be subjects, objects, or so on. They declinate regularly, but they don't have plural forms(make plural of weather, go on, and see if it makes any sense)

Er Bizn - The Weather noun(eg. IT's going to rain)

Er Man - The General/Obligative noun(eg. Man darf nicht rauchen)

Er Timt - The Situation/Time noun(eg. IT's 4 o'clock)
