This page is about Tenses of Kиipƒi language. It's subpage of syntax. Here's some descriptions for constructions:

Infinitive - Past - Future - Perfect - By Person Conjugated

If English tenses are connected to Simple Tenses of Kиipƒi, it would look like this:

Simple Perfect/Past Present Future

[edit] Simple tenses

These tenses are used in common speech. They doesn't require any auxiliary verbs. There's just 4:

Present Simple Tense is used for referring present events.

Construction: S+O+V(Inf,BPC)

[edit] Future

Future Simple Tense is used for referring planned events, and events that will happen.

Construction: S+O+V(Fut,BPC)


[edit] Perfect

Perfect Simple Tense is used for completed past events, unrepeated.

Construction: S+O+V(Per,BPC)

Past Simple Tense is used for incompleted past events OR past events that started repeating from somewhere in past(like in He was playing football since age of 2(and he still does it)).

Construction: S+O+V(Pas,BPC)


[edit] Composed Tenses

They're advanced versions of Simple Tenses, and usually display complicated time relations of events. They're more official also. In common speech, simple versions of these tenses are used, Composed Tenses can be also used to emphasis time relation fact.

If some events(because it's possible to construct so sentences for every English tense that it will have no equivalent in Composed Tenses) from English tenses are connected to Composed Tenses of Kиipƒi, it would look like this:

Past Present Future
Simple Past Progressive Perfect Cycle(more often) Future Progressive/Future Perfect
Continuous Past Progressive Present Progressive Future Progressive/Future Perfect

Perfect Cycle Composed Tense is used for displaying perfect events that are repeated, they're started and finished in cycles, this tense does not include past.

Construction: S+O+sigfo(Per,BPC)+V(Inf)

Simple Version: Past Simple Tense

Future Perfect Composed Tense is used for displaying events that will be finished in future.

Construction: S+O+sigfo(Fut,BPC)+V(Per)

Simple Version: Future Simple Tense

Present Progressive Composed Tense is used for displaying present events that are going to be completed.

Construction: S+O+sigfo(Inf,BPC)+V(Inf)

Simple Version: Present Simple Tense

Past Progressive Composed Tense is used for displaying past events that were going to be completed in past.

Construction: S+O+sigfo(Inf,BPC)+V(Pas)

Simple Version: Past Simple Tense

Future Progressive Composed Tense is used for displaying events that will start being completed in future.

Construction: S+O+sigfo(Fut,BPC)+V(Fut)
