Lingwa de Planeta
The city for conlangs
Lingwa de Planeta is an international auxiliary language, created by a small group of enthusiasts from St.Petersburg, Russia (Dmitry Ivanov, Elena Ivanova, Asya Vinogradova, Anastasia Lysenko). Lingwa de Planeta (LdP) es muy fasile fo europajen, bat da konteni yoshi mucho worda fon chinum, hindi, rusum e arabum. (I am not sure if I must translate this into English). LdP is quite speakable. A report in LdP has been made on a humanist conference. The most interesting thing about LdP is that it is very naturalistic and at the same time it imports words and grammar elements from many world languages. Sometimes you could think that it’s just a mixture of words from various languages. Actually, it is not, there is a system, of course. The best way to know more about LdP is to visit our site at http://lingwadeplaneta.info/en/index.shtml[External Link]
We are looking for more words from non-european languages, so you may also contribute to LdP. We don’t regard LdP as something unchangeable, given once and forever. So you may take a part in our project!
