Mestian cosmonymy relates very closely to current herder comprehension of astronomy, and draws heavy inspiration from mythological sources. Contemporary Mestian scientific understanding generally subscribes to a heliocentric, orbital understanding of its stellar system. Though mostly superseded by different, more philosophical systems of belief, Mestian cosmonymy relies on archaic and obsolescent, comparatively pagan, herder religious traditions. Stellar bodies in the stellar system are named after a family of notable túnura:

  • Sprênta — the Sun
    • Júrhī
    • Agúmtā
    • Ghôlam
    • Dỹsā — the world on which Mestians live
      • Gaŋghûnas — the moon
    • Jáppas
    • Jáštal
