This language is spoken in the falriz gevta, an area within the Earth's mantle just cool enough to store a small colony of lava-people. Mjeh is for Blob Doom's worst language challenge
Mjeh is Oligosyntactic, which means that it only uses morphemes without words for them to synthetically "cling" to, so they "cling" to each other. Mjeh is nominative-absolutive (also called marked nominative), which means that the only case that is marked is the nominative; all else is left unmarked.
This language has 2 genders: masculine and feminine. Whenever a "noun" is put into a "sentence" it will be marked with it's gender.
|Fricative||ɸ β||θ ð||ʂ ʐ||h ɦ|
|θˤ ðˤ||ʂˤ ʐˤ|
|Lateral fric.||ɬ ɮ||ꞎ|
|[æ ɑ ɒ]||[ɖ~ɖʱ]||[ɛ]||[ɸ]||[ʕ]||[h]||[ɪ]|
|[β]||[ɥ]||[ɨ]||[ʐ]||[ɖʐ]||[ɮ]||[ˠ ʰ ʱ ᶣ ˤ]|
NOTE: When Š pairs with H they make the ꞎ sound.
NOTE: When T pairs with H they make the θ sound; when T pairs with Ł, however, they make the ð sound. NOTE: The apostraphe (') will only come after a consonant that has the capability of being co-articulated in this language. It is basically a diacritic that comes after the letter it modifies; look in the vocabulary below for examples.
Syllables will usually have the (C)(C)(V)V structure, so they'll end in vowels.
Nouns are marked only by gender and case.
Nouns will usually end in the vowel y, except for some irregular nouns, which will end in a consonant.
Usually, to mark the noun into its gender, you would simply change the y to something else (specified later).
There are eight overall tones, illustrated on the right:There are, however, no diacritics to distinguish when to use the certain tone; all is done in context.
