There are also 5 diphthongs in endars, those diphthongs are /ɑʊ/, /ɑi/, /oi/, /ow/, and /ij/

the Phonotactics are quite simple actually, here are the rules:

  1. /ħ/ must either begin a word, or be after any back vowel that is not iotated, it can be followed by all those vowels as well.
  2. consonant clusters of up to 4 consonants are allowed, making the structure of a syllable be (CCCC)V(CCCC
  3. /r/ /v/ /l/ and /n/ can be syllabic and can be in the nucleus of a syllable
  4. ŋ must not be in the onset of the word, unless there is some sort of prefix
  5. the allophones can appear randomly at any moment, but mainly if that sound is preceded by a back vowel at the end of a word
  6. an iotated vowel can be formed by a palatalized consonant, or a palatal consonant
  7. an iotated vowel at any place of a word can make any sound palatalized.
  8. a palatal consonant cannot end a word
  9. /x/ /ħ/ or any affricate cannot cluster

Writing SystemEdit

Letter ä â æ b c č ĉ ç d ð e é
Sound ɑ ʲɑ æ b c ɟ ç d ð ɛ e
Letter je ë f g h ĥ
Sound ʲɛ ə f g h ħ

an aspirated consonant (Cʰ) is written with an /h/ after it, such as kʰ (kh)

a labialized consonant (Cʷ) is written with a /w/ after it, such as vʷ (vw)

a palatalized consonant (Cʲ) is written with a /j/ after it, such as vʲ (vj) UNLESS if the vowel after it can be iotated, if so, that vowel is in the writing system chart above, you write the consonant, then the iotated vowel. here is an example: /vʲo/ is written as /vô/ not /vjo/
