See: death (Pilingual Primer)

death (see also: stone)

  • not changing your position, not moving, not being alive.
  • being unable to act other than following the forces of nature. (see also: TINA)

Healing the sick, curing the blind, raising the dead probably either refers to death or to the opposite.

poison and injury refer to death, only not quite as successful.

dead : matt {de} -> dull -> adult

The sensible attitude of being thoughtful and calm is represented in a negative way (Logical fallacy: Judgemental language)

deceased : verstorben {de} -> fair + be -> "be fair"

see also: vermögend {de}

corpses : Leichen {de} -> leih' {de} + schön {de} -> borrowing is nice

maybe: police diver -> Polizeitaucher {de} -> please + tauscher {de} + "please barter"

corpse : Leiche {de} -> gleiche {de} -> equals

Corps Diplomatique -> CD -> "sieh' + die" {de}

posthumously : posthuman -> "future generations need to be thoroughly dead" -> "You need a very sound understanding of ethics and appreciation for ethics in future"

mortal : more + tall (probably with the implication that the dead are no longer mortal)

immortal : "I'm more tall" -> "failure to die", also homophone to immoral

to hurt so. (verbally) :

  • Someone you wouldn't want to hurt is not an adult [1], because intelligent adults aren't easily insulted.

[1] And may be someone you wouldn't want to teach to be an adult either.

[edit] Observations

  • Before a soldier kills others he should have a defendable position on higher ground (e.g. on a mountain)
  • The dead don't move anymore (don't change their location [1])
  • The dead move slowly (-> "make well-considered moves"), e.g. Zombies
  • The dead rot -> The dead rot [2]
  • Somebody who is just wounded (-> verwundet {de} -> verwundert {de} [3] [4]) isn't dead.
  • When you are dead you exist only in the past. (see: stone, void)

[1] oversimplification: Obviously you have to adapt to new challenges sometimes; even when you have a well-considered ethical position you may be forced to refine your position or even change your positon according to new insights.
[2] polarization and oversimplification, a combination of red and blue (connotation: rational) (e.g. lila) seems a better choice.
[3] amazed / surprised / bewildered / puzzled / astonished
[4] Also:
  • platt : "platt machen" -> to kill
  • platt : "Da bist du platt, was?" {de} -> Now you are flabbergasted?

[edit] Cause of death

You can die from ...

  • being shoot with a pi-is-told (pistol).
  • being be-om-be-d.
  • AIDS (help).
  • pestilence (Budapest -> Buddha + pest)
  • ra - diation
  • being stoned (-> astonished) to death
  • being killed by a blast (-> be last)

[edit] Dead people don't grab

Image:Pi:Orlock.JPG
Vampire: Dead people don't Grab {de} (-> grave)

Dead people don't [1] grab ...

  • your attention.
  • your money.
  • your time.

That's why dead people are near invisible when you live in an amusement park of information which are pushed towards you [2], for teenagers the TV can be enough of an amusement park to make this true, for adults a busy working day can have similar results. [3]

[1] or: try to avoid to
[2] that's why media literacy is so important.
[3] that's why you might want to strive for a 4 day week, 30 hours week or less and lifelong learning.

[edit] Example

  • This is consistent with the observation that AIDS (HIV -> hilf {de} -> help) kills.
  • God is dead

[edit] Warning

This metaphor is dangerous. You cannot simply translate everyting from YHVH's language to your language, you first need to know if it is meant to be translated.
