[edit] Observations
- 0.99 is an unlikely price. [1]
- 0.99 reads "point Nine Nine" -> "Nein, nein" {de} -> No, no
- Prices in dedicated fair trade shops often do not end on a '9'. [2]
- [1] There may be further reasons for unlikely numbers. It's only a metaphor, and most probably an ambiguous one.
- [2] As usual, this is only a trend, not a reliable observation.
