• not a resident of the/this world. (which could be synonymous to being dead)

extraterrestrial could also sometimes be a reference to the yhvh species.

^[1] The suggestion of anarchism on K-Pax could be interpreted as a mutation of a society that requires ^[2] adult behavior: Obviously an anarchist society would require the most adult behavior from every single individual, as everybody would have to emulate his or her part of the missing government services; an anarchist society is, however, not likely to be the best society to promote the most adult behavior, just the best to depend on it. This is a hint that a society may have a moral obligation to bring about adult behavior.
