• Mathematics asks for formal approaches. (see: A formal approach to mentoring)
• Physicists notice broken symmetries (-> dubious claims to symmetry or analogousness / invalid analogies) ^[1]

^[1] With a better understanding of the YHVH language one should probably describe invalid analogies as invalid hypotheses or questions. To promote theory formation a teacher may have to present pupils with hypotheses and may have to encourage them to validate or invalidate these. In the fields of pedagogics and citizenship education this may extend to forming and verifying hypotheses about people. (e.g. grading conference, reassignment of the least proficient pupils)
