reason -> Riesen {de} -> giants, titans
The YHVH language implies that unnecessary size is unreasonable (lack of reason). A (pseudo-causal) rationale could be that something or somebody that or who needed to be told to apply reason could become unreasonably large as a result. (e.g. a titan)
Unreasonable lack of size can, on the other hand, also be interpreted as lack of reason. (e.g. being compared to an atom or other particle [1])
