See: universe (Pilingual Primer)

universe :

  • universe -> world -> Welt {de}
  • a personal perception universe.
  • a physical system (of significant dimensions) -> the metaphorical universe is a semantic (linguistic) system of significant dimensions.
This dictionary tries to describe some aspects.

[edit] Educational framework

The universe could also be interpreted as an educational framework which is arranged to make circumstances speak for themselves and to contain many reversals of positions (so as to discourage people to jump to conclusions).

Use of the educational framework (depending on your position) may be clearly marked as "do not use" (-> off limits? -> keep secret?), because it allows people to come to harm.

The gap here may be: "Can you devise your own educational framework?" [1] [2]

One probably could also see the universe as a draconic approach meant to be superceded by a process designed by pupils (and allowing the occasional mistreatment of individual pupils)

[1] Convenient offer : You are given an example solution but you cannot make use of it, you have to devise your own.
[2] By a curious coincidence (as Douglas Adams would phrase it) "Can you devise your own educational framework?" is exactly the question that one might ask pupils during the sixth form grades, thus allowing them to devise and operate their own process designed by pupils, which may seem central to citizenship education.

[edit] Sorry joke

In another aspect the universe is a rather sorry joke. Somebody who needs many years to tell you a rather sorry joke may also be some kind of god.

  • One gap could be more respect for people's time / life time (e.g. 28plus7).
  • Another gap could be "a small fee for attention". [1] (e.g. semipostal stamps for email [3])

[1] Weihnachtsengel {de} -> a small fairy (-> Fee {de}) -> fee for the christmas tree (-> ein Tännchen {de} -> for attention) -> small fee for attention [2] (Jahresendflügelfigur appears to be a re-interpretation of the term, only the wrong one)
[2] which is then used, according to the spirit of Christmas, for charitable purposes.
[3] A different way to segregate from people who do not meet your standards: To refuse email communication due to "lack of postage". This one may be ethically untainted while segregating socially from random people [4] is discouraged by the view that everybody may be manipulated to convey (silly) metaphors to perfect strangers in need of "good advice". (The opposite of segregating socially is social bridging, e.g. mentoring. Actively pursuing social bridging may be a more interesting topic than "avoiding social segregation" because the latter may often be an unintended side effect, e.g. when attending a Waldorf school).
[4] No pun intended: "random people" could also be another pilingual paraphrase for taxi drivers / waterfowls. This could be seen as to convey the view that if you can segregate from "taxi drivers" you can segregate from almost random people (e.g. most children (actual children)).
