Syllable StructureEdit

All syllables in Vamynouyynem consist of one vowel and one consonant. The only syllable clusters that have a vowel before a consonant are the following;

an, aen, on, yn, un

All other syllables start with a consonant and end in a vowel, and the above mentioned syllables only appear at the beginnings of words, for example;

Anmarla
/ɹ/ is the only consonant that can occur without a vowel, as seen in the above example.

Therefore, the syllable structure is simply;

Syllable CV(R)

GrammarEdit

Vamynouyynem is a poly-synthetic language and therefore, sentences are often all one word. For example the following sentence;

naronaa'anmarla
Which translates to I love our world
The ' is a glottal stop, which appears between affixes which share the same vowel, or, in some cases, between a long vowel and a short vowel of the same type.

Syntactic constructions in Vamynouyynem follow this strict layout;
