Romanslavic onomastics
The city for conlangs
Names for people in Romanslavic are formed by a given name, a patronymic and a surname (family name). The patronymic follows roughly the same rules for the genitive case, which is adding the -av suffix after the name of one's father. Given names are usually taken from the same Greek and Latin roots as other Slavic languages such as Russian and Serbo-Croatian. And family names are usually taken from placenames, occupations or nature, with a strong minority presence of Russian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Greek and Turk names.
For placenames, see Romanslavic toponymics.
