Solans is my first true Romance conlang. I am unsure where it is going to go, so for now it is experimental.

  • /m/ is realized as [ɱ] before labio-dental consonants.
  • /n/ is realized as [ŋ] before /k/.
  • /n/ is realized as [ɴ] before /ʁ/, /l/, /s/, and /ʒ/.
  • /b/, /d/, and /g/ are realized as [β], [ð], and [ɣ], respectively, between vowels.
  • /l/ is realized as [w] at a syllable coda. 
  • /a/ becomes [ə] when unstressed.
  • /e/ becomes [ɛ] when unstressed.
