Whyja use preformatted text instead of tables? --DAH BUY000R! (wall | crimes)
I think monospaced preformatted text is a brilliant sketchup tool. It's still fairly undetailed and exists as a handful of sketches covering four-five pages of a notebook. Will flesh out more once back in civilisation.

What does OBL mean? Could you explain "syntactical ergativity?" The use of the consonant gradation is very interesting. I never see it except in Irish (I haven't looked at Welsh or anything else; they might have it too o3o). I really want to see how you do the consonant gradation. Also, why don't you use tables for the phonology ever? Is because you think that they're unnecessary and cluncky? Maybe you should do something a little more interesting in terms of morphology o3o. Maybe a trial number? I'm just sayin' to make it a little more interesting (not that the consonant gradation isn't already awesome ^u^)
Edit: I just saw the dual in verbs: that's more like it ^u^

1] OBL is basically a shorthand for oblique.
2] Can but takes a lot of time :P
3] You'll find consonant gradation in a lotta langs; Finnish, Estonian & Sámi languages are a good example
4] I do use them; take a look at Mestian, Kti, Mendian, Proto-Bakarh, Gaptan, Üge etc. -- what I often do (and am seen doing) is sketch up languages without involving tables until I devote attention to parts that end up both fleshed out and cosmetically touched up!
5] Morphology's not nearly as fun as what ties it together sometimes! I'm not planning anything complex in terms of morphology, but the actual fun's going to be in the morphophonology, morphosyntax and obtuse morphosemantics :D

Awesome. I'll have to check it, consonant gradation, in Finnish and Estionian. Oh, I've only looked at Mestian, Xwarṣa, Ambanian, and this one in depth really o3o. Sorry. I understand what you mean though. Also, I'll just have to ask you when you're on chat again for syntactical ergativity XD. Anyways, I'll be looking to see how this turns out.
