GrammarEdit

Tsraen follows an SVO or OSV grammatical system.

NounsEdit

Nouns pluralize based on phonetics- the ending sound of the singular determines what the change will be to plural. There are five cases which can impact noun endings: Nominative, Accusative, Ablative, Allative and Instrumental. Respectively these are indicated by: any number of things,-cs-, -aed-, -it-, -om-.

VerbsEdit

Verbs conjugate based on person and number, but not tense. Tense is indicated at the beginning of the sentence with a distinct, tense-indicative word, those being Nussiem, Cossiem, and Tassiem- past, present, future respectively. Perfection and progression are implied in other ways. Personal conjugations are, from first to third, singular then plural, -r, -ri, -n, -ns, -sh, -she.

Notes: All of the interrogatives act in unison with the personal number, e.g. Nussiem tsori vari... (Why we did...) versus Nussiem tsor var... (Why I did...). They can also be used to ask some questions that take multiple words in English, e.g. Tassiem vashe balthae (there will be pillows) followed by another speaker asking (Tassiem) tsema? (How many {will there be}?)

Example textEdit

Nussiem vari naegoi. Cos, tasstis Traeus rogaom buchosh varicsi, vari isse shcae. [In the past] (we) were great. Now, after God with his rod struck us, (we) are but scum.

Cossiem vashe tysse tys aurit, uil re. [In the present] (they) are the (ones who) bring the gold, not me.

Tassiem rogaom buchor eshecs, nae tas var naego. [In the future] with my rod (I shall) strike them, and then (I shall) be great.

SVO versus OSV-

Tassiem leum saevosh necs! He will kill you!

Tassiem necs leum saevosh! You he will kill!
