Uberish/Alphabet and Punctuation
The city for conlangs
< Uberish
[edit] Alphabet
Uberish uses the Latin alphabet, with the exception of the letter c, for which k is substituted, q, and v. All of the consonants are pronounced identically to English consonants, with the exception of h, which is pronounced a the back of the throat, as if coughing. The a is always short; the e is pronounced like an English short e; the i is pronounced like an English long e; the o is always long; and the u is pronounced like the English oo. There are also three blends: zh, ch, and sh, pronounced as in English.
[edit] Puncutation
Uberish uses the same punctuation marks as English, but majuscule letters are used less often. All letters are miniscule, except for the first letters of proper nouns.
