ClassificationEdit

Vefjan is a Volgic language within the Indo-European language family. While it constitutes its own branch of the Indo-European family, there are hypothetical lexical and phonological ties to the Balto-Slavic branch, the Uralic language family, and the Turkic language family. In a real world setting, this language would reside in the Western portion of the Volga river basin extending towards the Eastern Baltic coast.
